Alicia Hale O’Cull Ward
Alicia Hale O’Cull Ward has been with Sell With Hale Realty and Auction, LLC since its inception. When the doors opened in 1980 she began to work at age six with her father, Stephen D. Hale founder of the business… She earned her real estate license in 1993, helping to pay her way through Bellarmine University. While at Bellarmine, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She holds a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Kentucky and a Masters in Leadership from St. Catharine College. Alicia received her real estate broker’s license in 1998 after returning home to work in the business full time. Real Estate has always been her career choice. With her business education and desire to help people, she has been an integral part of the growth of Sell With Hale Realty and Auction, LLC. Alicia has over 25 years experience -from helping first time home buyers to selling large farms. As the next generation of Sell with Hale Realty and Auction begins, Alicia’s experience and dedication will help guide the way to our future in real estate. Alicia is involved in many civic activities and volunteers many hours with her church and school communities. She is past President of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and was named Woman of the Year in 2015. She has served as a director of the Springfield – Washington County Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in Scouts BSA. She resides in Washington County with her husband, Chuck, and two children, Meredith & Carter.
J. Michael Hale
Managing Sales Associate/Auctioneer
J. Michael Hale joined the team at Sell With Hale Realty and Auction, LLC in 2009 and currently is the Sales Manager. Michael is the son of Stephen and Mary Ann Hale, founders of Sell With Hale. He obtained his real estate sales associates license in 2009 and earned his Auctioneers license later that year. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisville, majoring in Communications & Economics. He is an alumnus of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. While attending Uof L, Michael was awarded good academic standing. He became an Eagle Scout in 2006. Michael has over 10 years experience in real estate and auctions. Michael’s dedication to personal service, knowledge of the real estate industry, and marketing skills has earned him top sales volume. He can guide you through every step of selling or purchasing real estate. Michael believes in giving back to the community in which he lives. He is currently serving as President of the Springfield- Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers his auctioneering skills for many charity events. Michael participates in Career Days at the local schools and works with Scouts BSA . A lifelong resident of Washington County, Michael lives in Springfield with his wife Catherine and 3 children, James Davison, Robert Madison & Adalind Rose. Glenn P. Mattingly obtained his real estate license in April 2005 and has been an integral part of Sell With Hale Realty and Auction, LLC since then. Glenn is also a Principal auctioneer. He works part time as a sales associate and auctioneer. Glenn has served as the Director of Public Works for the City of Springfield for the last six years. He also has 25 years of construction experience. Glenn has volunteered countless hours auctioneering for charity events and helping his community. In 2019, the Chamber of Commerce awarded him the Above and Beyond Award. A skilled woodworker and craftsman, Glenn has donated hundreds of handmade items to local charities. Glenn’s experience in construction and working with people makes him a trusted professional as a real estate agent. Glenn has two children and two grandchildren. He and his wife, Paula, live in Washington County.
Mary Ann Hale
Mary Ann Hale worked alongside her husband, Stephen D. Hale to found Sell With Hale Realty & Auction, LLC. She has been a licensed sales associate since 1980 and obtained a Broker’s License in 1998. A lifelong resident of Springfield, KY Mary Ann and her husband raised six children. The entire family worked together in the business. Steve and Mary Ann built the business with customer satisfaction and community service as their main goal. After teaching in the Washington County school system for 5 years she joined Steve full time in the real estate business. Mary Ann is still active in the business serving in compliance and administrative rolls. A graduate of St. Catharine Academy and Junior College, she holds a Bachelors of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Education from Bellarmine University. She serves as the President of the local St. Vincent DePaul Society and has volunteered for many years with Scouts BSA, 4-H, and St Dominic School who awarded her the Alumna of the Year award in 2014. Mary Ann delights in her nine grandchildren and large extended family. She enjoys gardening and reading.
